Wow finally my local "Together" Store (a subsidiary of Giant Bicycles) are carrying panniers. I've spent the last six months looking for decent panniers (Arkel, Vaude, Ortlieb, Nashbar) but for price and quality I have these at the top of my list for things I'll get for my Germany/Czech cycling adventure this summer. The local retail price is around US$ 80, which is less than half of some of the brands mentioned above and yes these panniers are made from 3M waterproof material.
This sharp looking bicycle is a new touring model by Giant called Adventure 1 and like they say if there's a 1 that mean there's also a 2.
